About the event
Our organization is dedicated to fostering environmental stewardship and a love for nature among children through engaging and educational activities. We are offering an After School Nature & Garden Camp, which runs for six weeks from April 9, 2026, to May 14, 2026, every Thursday from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM. The camp is designed to teach children about the importance of pollinators, plants, and environmental conservation through hands-on projects, outdoor activities, and interactive discussions.
Activities include:
Engaging in fun snacks and social interactions.
Planting seeds and learning about plant growth and care.
Creating art projects like "parts of a plant," "what plants need," and DIY "bee condos."
Observing and discussing monarch butterflies and their role in the ecosystem. We will capture a live Monarch Butterfly egg and watch it grow into a butterfly then release it into the wild!
